MEMORANDUM OPINION% AND ORDER
RICHARD J. HOLWELL, District Judge:
Lead Plaintiff State Universities Retirement System of Illinois (“plaintiff’) brings this suit pursuant to Sections 10(b) and Rule 10b-5 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Sections 11, 12(a)(2), and 15 of the Securities Act of 1933. Plaintiff alleges that General Electric (“GE”) failed to disclose information regarding GE’s health and the health of GE Capital, its wholly owned subsidiary, from September 25, 2008 to March 19, 2009 (“the Class Period”), at the height of the recent financial crisis.
