OPINION

MATHIAS, Judge.

Charles Receveur ("Receveur") filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus in Henry Superior Court claiming that he was being illegally detained by Edwin Buss, the commissioner of the Indiana Department of Correction, and Jeff Wrigley, the superintendent of the New Castle Correctional Facility (collectively "the Respondents"). In his petition, Receveur claimed that he was entitled to be released from incarceration because his parole had been unlawfully revoked. The trial court denied Receveur's request for relief.
