The plaintiffs appeal from a trial court judgment granting defendant’s motion for summary judgment dismissing the plaintiff’s amended complaint.

The plaintiffs, who are recipients of public assistance, filed a class action against the defendants, the Washington State Department of Public Assistance and its director. The plaintiffs had been advised on December 1, 1969, that there would be a change in policy which would reduce the amount of their assistance grants.
