Defendant has objected to the magistrate’s report and recommendation that defendant be compelled to answer interrogatories and requests to produce propounded by the plaintiff and that defendant’s motion for a protective order be denied. Defendant is a West German corporation that manufactured a machine in which plaintiff’s son was killed. This action, brought by plaintiff as the administrator of his. son’s estate, is approaching the beginning of its third year of discovery.
