— Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Vinik, J.), rendered July 12, 1984, convicting him of unlawfully offering for sale motor vehicle parts with altered vehicle identification numbers, criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, upon a jury verdict and imposing sentence.
