On the 14th day of May,, 1931,'relator filed his application in the district court of Pottawatomie county, praying, for a peremptory writ ordering and commanding J. H. Reynolds to vacate the office-of member of the board of education of the-city of Maud from ward 2 of said city. On: the 16th day of June, 1981, a judgment ad,verse to the relator was rendered by the' court, and the appeal therefrom was filed herein September 8, 1931.
