Plaintiffs Marriott PLP Corporation, Host Marriott Corporation, and Marriott Intemational, Inc. (collectively “Marriott”) have filed this declaratory judgment action in an attempt to resolve disputes arising from the parties’ participation in a venture known as the Chesapeake Hotel Limited Partnership (“CHLP”). Marriott has named John S. Tuschman (“Tuschman”) as an individual defendant and proposes that he be certified as representative of a class of limited partner investors in the venture.
