This appeal arises out of a private antitrust action brought by Southern Pacific Communications Company and Transportation Microwave Corporation (collectively “SPCC”) against the American Telephone and Telegraph Company and the local Bell operating telephone companies (collectively “AT & T”), alleging that AT & T monopolized the market for intercity business telecommunications services in the United States in violation of section 2 of the Sherman Act. 1 Following a lengthy trial, the District Court…
