The appellant, John G. Redmond, brought this suit to quiet title to 716 acres of land in Jersey county, or, in the alternative, for a decree creating a lien on the interest of Bertha Gillis and Walter A. Abdill, appellees, in the land, and in default of payment for an order of partition and sale. The amended bill alleges that in 1906 George B. Leonard, who then owned the land in fee simple, conveyed an undivided two-thirds interest therein to George W. Ab-dill and Redmond, whereby Leonard, Abdill and Redmond each became seized of an undivided one-third interest in the land; that afterwards…
