SULLIVAN, Judge:

In February and March 1987, appellant was tried by a general court-martial with members at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty of wrongful use of marijuana, two specifications of wrongful distribution of marijuana, and wrongfully making a false statement under oath,1 in violation of Articles 112a and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 912a and 934, respectively.
