James Dean Wilkinson was convicted of simple battery, aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated battery, and kidnapping with bodily injury. He appeals, contending the evidence against him was insufficient as to each count, and the trial court erred in failing to merge the offenses. For the reasons that follow, we affirm the convictions.
When considering whether the evidence is sufficient to sustain the verdict, we view the evidence in the light most favorable to the verdict, determining only the sufficiency of the evidence and not its weight or the credibility of witnesses.…
