David Lee Johnson appeals from the trial court’s denial of his “Motion to Correct Illegal and Void Sentence.”

After a jury trial, Johnson was convicted on charges of rape, aggravated assault, possession of a knife during the commission of a crime and cruelty to children. Johnson was sentenced to life in prison for rape, twenty years in prison for aggravated assault, twenty years in prison for cruelty to children, and five years for possession of a knife.
