This is a diversity interpleader action filed by Old Republic Insurance Company seeking a determination whether Cathy Grimes Christian is entitled to share with three minor defendants workmen’s compensation benefits arising out of the work-related death of the deceased, Dallas Ray Christian. 28 U. S.C. § 1335(a)(1). The principal question presented to the Court is the matrimonial status of Cathy Christian and the consequent effect of that status under the Tennessee Workmen’s Compensation Act. 50 Tenn.Code Ann. § 901 et seq.
