Macon Telegraph Publishing Company (“appellant”), publisher of a daily newspaper in Macon, appeals from a jury verdict against it on two counts of invasion of privacy.

Nancy Tomlinson Tatum (“appellee”) shot and killed a male intruder in her bedroom around 4:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. At the time the intruder was shot, he was walking toward her bed, with a knife in his hand, his pants unzipped and his penis exposed. The police cleared the case as a justifiable homicide.
