Petitioner, Helen Beeler, widow of Melvin Beeler, filed an application for adjustment of claim under the Workers’ Occupational Diseases Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 48, par. 172.36 et seq.), naming as respondent therein Sherwin Williams Chemical Division, Mr. Beeler’s former employer. An arbitrator denied petitioner’s claim for compensation, finding that petitioner had failed to prove decedent’s death arose out of and in the course of his employment with respondent or was causally related thereto.
