Sharon Shoemaker (Shoemaker) brought suit against defendants Dr. Josiah Ekunno (Ekunno) and Christian Hospital Northeast-Northwest (Christian) alleging Ekunno and Christian negligently performed surgery by leaving a surgical sponge in her abdominal cavity. A jury returned a verdict for Ekun-no and Christian. Shoemaker appeals. All five of Shoemaker’s points on appeal allege the trial court erred in the admission of evidence.
