The appellant was found guilty, contrary to his pleas, by a military judge sitting as a general court-martial of attempted kidnapping, escape from confinement, forcible sodomy, assault consummated by a battery (three specifications), indecent acts, kidnapping, and disorderly conduct, in violation of Articles 80, 125, 128, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 880, 925, 928, and 934 (1982) [hereinafter UCMJ].
