This appellant appeals from a conviction for unlawful possession of a dangerous drug. A plea of guilty was entered before a jury. The court instructed the jury to find her guilty and to assess her punishment at a fine not to exceed $3,000.00 or by confinement in jail for not less than 30 days nor more than two years, or by both such fine and imprisonment. See Article 726d § 15(a), Vernon’s Ann.P.C. The jury assessed punishment at a fine of $1,250.00 and recommended probation.
