Defendant-Appellant Reliance Insurance Company (“Reliance”) brings this interlocutory appeal from an adverse ruling in the court below on its motion to dismiss Plaintiff-Appellee Doris Whitehead’s Title VII suit for lack of jurisdiction. The sole question on appeal is whether the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s administrative closure of a timely complaint of employment discrimination in response to the complaining party’s request to withdraw the complaint effectively bars the complaining party from later bringing suit in federal court.
