Antonio M.C. and Steven M.K. appeal from nonfinal orders denying their motions to dismiss delinquency petitions with prejudice under §48.24(5), Stats., 1 which requires a court intake worker to recommend that a petition be filed, enter into an informal disposition or close the case within forty days from receipt of delinquency information. Antonio and Steven contend that the court lost jurisdiction when the intake worker failed to satisfactorily complete the intake process within that statutory period.
