On appeal, Abdikarim Mohamoud Mohamed argues that the trial court lacked jurisdiction to revoke his suspended sentence because his original period of suspension had expired at the time of the revocation. Thus, he reasons, the order revoking his suspended sentence is void. In the alternative, Mohamed argues that even if the order is voidable, rather than void, this Court should invoke the ends of justice exception to Rule 5A:18 to reach his unpreserved argument and determine that the trial court committed reversible error when it revoked his suspended sentence.
