John Farinaro has petitioned the Court for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Petitioner was convicted, after a jury trial in County Court, Nassau County, of two counts of robbery in the first degree, N.Y.Penal Law § 160.15 (McKinney 1975), reckless endangerment in the first degree, id. § 120.25, and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, id. § 265.03. He was sentenced to concurrent prison terms of ten to twenty years on the robbery counts, three-and-one-half to seven years on the reckless endangerment count, and…
