Memorandum and Opinion:

SINGLETON, District Judge.

This criminal proceeding is before the court on direct appeal from the United States Magistrate Court, Southern District of Texas, Houston Division, Judge Ronald J. Blask presiding. At the proceedings before Judge Blask, the appellant pleaded guilty to a charge of attempting to board an aircraft with a concealed weapon in vio lation of 49 U.S.C. § 1472(f). 1 The magistrate accepted the plea of guilty and then proceeded to find the accused guilty of the offense charged.
