This action was brought by Martha Rakowski as beneficiary under an industrial insurance policy issued by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company on November 27, 1939 on the life of Wladyslaw Rakowski, her deceased husband, in the sum of $310. The policy also provided that the company would pay an equal sum in the event the insured’s death resulted solely through external, violent and accidental means.
