Plaintiff A. I. Gage Plumbing Supply Company, a plumbing contractor, filed suit for an injunction to prevent breach of a collective bargaining contract in effect between itself and defendant Local 300 of the International Hod Carriers, Building and Common Laborers’ Union of America (the members of which are sometimes referred to as “laborers” in contrast to the members of the plumbers union as “plumbers”). Plaintiff filed a supplemental complaint adding a prayer for damages resulting from the alleged breach of contract.
