The defendant was convicted of unlawfully possessing intoxicating liquors for beverage purposes. There was sufficient evidence to sustain the conviction. He bases his claim to a new trial on two grounds.(1) In the course of his cross-examination of the corporal of the State Police who raided the defendant’s premises and made the arrest, the attorney for the defendant asked him whether he had ascertaind that there were on the defendant’s premises five or six bungalows which were rented out to other people; to which the witness replied he had learned that there were…
