Benham, Judge.

A jury convicted appellant of homicide by vehicle in the first degree (OCGA § 40-6-393 (a)); driving under the influence of alcohol (OCGA § 40-6-391); driving on the wrong side of the road (OCGA § 40-6-40); operating a motor vehicle without insurance (OCGA § 33-34-12 (b)); making a false statement (OCGA § 16-10-20); and driving without a license (OCGA § 40-5-20). The DUI conviction merged with the one for homicide by vehicle, and the trial court entered judgment on the remaining convictions, which prompted this appeal.
