MEMORANDUM OPINION

A former drug user who has contracted AIDS is here suing an insurance company, claiming that delay in the treatment of her serious medical condition was caused by wrongful acts of defendant committed when it refused to issue a life insurance policy to her. To protect her identity, plaintiff has been permitted to sue in this case as Jane Doe (hereinafter “Jane”). 1
