CORNELIUS, Chief Justice.
This litigation involves the validity and enforceability of a preferential right to purchase agreement covering oil, gas and other minerals, and the applicability of such an agreement to an oil and gas lease covering those minerals. The trial court rendered summary judgment for the holder of the preferential right, declaring that the agreement did apply to the execution of an oil and gas lease, and ordering specific performance.
