A special court-martial composed of a military judge alone convicted Appellant, contrary to his pleas, of failure to obey an order or regulation and drunken operation of a vehicle, in violation of Articles 92 and 111, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 892, 911 (2000). The sentence adjudged by the court-martial and approved by the convening authority included a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for ninety days, forfeiture of $500.00 pay per month for a period of four months, and a reduction to E-1.
