Reversing.

This controversy arises out of a dispute as to tbe ownership of a small tract of land, wbicb is claimed both by tbe appellants, wbo were plaintiffs below and wbo will hereafter be called tbe plaintiffs, and tbe appellee-, wbo was defendant below and wbo will hereafter be called tbe defendant.

It appears that prior to 1883 tbe Nortons owned a large body of land in Ballard Cqnnty through wbicb tbe Blandville and "Wickliffe, road ran. In 1883 tbe Nortons *781sold to Hicks and Buckhart, remote vendors of defendant, a part of this land lying on the north…
