OLSZEWSKI, J.:
¶ 1 Appellant Humberto Pagan sought to collaterally attack a trio of very old convictions, asserting his incompetence to either enter a guilty plea or to stand trial. *1232He petitioned the court of common pleas for a writ of coram nobis, and the court appointed counsel. For a variety of reasons, however, counsel could not find an arguably meritorious issue to raise; as a result, counsel petitioned the trial court to withdraw.
