Defendant was convicted by a jury of breaking and entering a building with the intent to commit larceny, MCL 750.11; MSA 28.305, and possession of burglar’s tools, MCL 750.116; MSA 28.311. He was sentenced to five to ten years imprisonment for each offense, the sentences to run concurrently. Defendant appeals as of right.
Defendant raises three issues on appeal. First, he contends that the trial court abused its discretion in refusing to grant an adjournment when the defendant failed to appear for the second and final day of the trial.
