Proceeding pursuant to article 78 of the CPLR to review a determination of the respondent trustees of the Village of East Hampton, dated June 17, 1971, dismissing petitioner, after a hearing, from his position of patrolman in the employ of the Police Department of the village, and for petitioner’s reinstatement and back pay.
