*496*221In these consolidated cases, Auto-Owners Insurance Company (Auto-Owners") and the City of Adrian (the City) appeal by leave granted the trial court's order denying their respective motions for summary disposition. Auto-Owners sought summary disposition regarding its claims for indemnification from appellees, Campbell-Durocher Group Painting and General Contracting, LLC (Campbell-Durocher), Jack Campbell, and Carrie Campbell.1 The City sought summary disposition of the Campbells' claims for breach of contract.
