In this case we must decide whether the statute of repose, presently codified as Section 5-108 of the Courts and Judicial Proceedings Article of the Maryland Code (1973, 2013 Repl. Vol.) ("CJP § 5-108" or "statute of repose"), bars the causes of action brought by James F. Piper ("Mr. Piper"), now deceased.
