This was an action to recover upon a contract of employment as bookkeeper for defendant. The plaintiff was discharged before the end of his term of employment, and has instituted this action to recover the salary for the remainder of the term and for overtime work, alleged to have been done at night and on Sundays. The case was tried to a jury, which returned a verdict for defendant as directed by the court. Plaintiff’s motion for a new trial being overruled, he has appealed to this court.
