THE COURT.
In an amended indictment returned by the grand jury of Fresno County, the defendants were jointly charged with the crimes of murder and robbery, each offense being separately stated. The defendant Anderson was also charged with having suffered a prior conviction of felony in the state of Nevada in 1936, for which he served a term of imprisonment. Bach defendant entered a plea of not guilty to both counts. Defendant Anderson admitted the prior conviction.
