In this proceeding the Ford Motor Company, hereafter referred to as petitioner, seeks a review of an award made by the State Industrial Commission on August 11, 1938 (corrected August 17, 1938), in favor of George E. McDonald, hereafter referred to as respondent. The essential facts are not in dispute. On October 20, 1927, respondent sustained a compensable injury whicli resulted in a total loss of vision in his left eye and for which he was paid compensation in the aggregate sum of $1,768.15 in compliance with an order entered by the Industrial Commission under date of April 12, 1928.…
