The facts material to this appeal are essentially undisputed. The plaintiff, Robert B. Hickey, a resident and licensed driver of the state of Connecticut, was arrested in the state of Maine and subsequently convicted of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. On appeal to the Superior Court of Maine, the conviction was upheld and the plaintiff was barred from operating a motor vehicle in that state for a period of four months.
