Mahmonir Rahimi, the plaintiff in this civil case, filed a complaint- against the defendant, Kenneth Weinstein, in his official capacity as the Acting Chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors (“the agency”), alleging that the agency retaliated against her in violation of Title VII of the Civil-Rights Act of 1964, as-amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e to 2000e-.17 (2012) (“Title VU”).
