The plaintiffs axe creditors of the Merchants Bank of Lockport, and bring thiá action to enforce the statutory liability of the stockholders thereof. On the-12th day of December, 1863, the First National Bank of Lockport was incorporated pursuant to the acts of Congress as a national bank, and on; February 24, 1883, its corporate existence was duly extended twenty years by the comptroller of the currency.
