The appellant, who avers that she is Jessie R. Maher, under that name filed her petition on January 28, 1897, in the matter of the estate of Mark H. Maher, deceased, in the probate court of Cook county, Illinois, averring that Mark H. Maher died intestate; that she had been his legal wife from about the first day of April, 1884, to the time, of his death; that he left no descendants but did leave certain collateral heirs, and left a valuable estate consisting of real and personal property, a part of which is real estate located in this State, and praying that the court order the administrator…
