{¶ 1} Respondent, Karan Marie Horan of Middletown, Ohio, Attorney Registration No. 0040872, was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1988. On December 4, 2007, we imposed an attorney-registration suspension on respondent’s license to practice law. In re Attorney Registration Suspension, 116 Ohio St.3d 1420, 2007-Ohio-6463, 877 N.E.2d 305. Respondent’s whereabouts are unknown. The Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline recommends that we permanently disbar respondent, based on findings that she has been indicted on several felony charges and that she accepted payment from…
