OPINION

OVARD, Justice.

Robert Irving Kingsley appeals his conviction for the offense of purchase of a child. Kingsley pleaded guilty pursuant to a plea bargain agreement, and the trial court assessed punishment at two years’ confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
