OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant Steven Crawford appeals his conviction and sentence for two counts of felonious assault, in violation of R.C. §§ 2903.11(A)(1) and (2).

{¶ 2} On April 27, 2007, a grand jury indicted Crawford for one count of aggravated robbery, in violation of R.C. § 2911.01(A)(1), a felony of the first degree, and two counts of felonious assault, in violation of R.C. §§ 2903.11(A)(1) and (2), both felonies of the second degree. Crawford was arraigned on May 1, 2007, stood mute, and the trial court entered a not guilty plea on his behalf.
