This was an action commenced by the defendants in error against the plaintiff in error in the municipal court of Chicago to recover damages sustained by the defendants in error in consequence of the failure.of the plaintiff in error to use and exercise proper care in the shipment of one hundred and fifty-threé boxes of pears and six hundred and fifty crates of plums from Hollister, State of California, to the city of Chicago, State of Illinois.
