delivered the opinion of the court:

Following a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County, defendant Edward Hawkins was found guilty of aggravated possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of burglary tools. Martin Wtulich, who was charged in the same information as defendant, was tried separately and is not a party to this appeal. The trial court sentenced defendant to 36 months of probation and seven days of the Sheriff's Work Alternative Program. The trial court also ordered defendant to pay $10,000 in restitution to the victim. Defendant now appeals…
