—Appeal from a decision of the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board, filed June 6, 1997, which ruled that claimant was disqualified from receiving unemployment insurance benefits because his employment was terminated due to misconduct.

Claimant was discharged from his employment as a child care worker at a residential-treatment facility for troubled adolescents when he left his work station prior to the end of his shift without authorization, despite having received a prior warning that such conduct was unacceptable.
