OPINION OF THE COURT

2Per curiam

The respondent was admitted to practice by this court on October 29, 1974, under the name I. S. Krup.

On April 15, 1987, the respondent was found guilty, after trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, of nine counts involving violation of 18 *352USC § 371, violation of 18 USC §§ 1001 and 1002, and violation of 18 USC § 201 (g).

On September 23, 1987, the respondent was sentenced on the first count to three years’ imprisonment with confinement for a period of 179 days, and execution of the remainder of the jail sentence suspended, and to…
